Customizing Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Integration

This section describes how to customize IncrediBuild's integration with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0's IDE.

Adding Commands to the IncrediBuild Toolbar

All of the commands displayed in the IncrediBuild menu can be added to the IncrediBuild toolbar (as well as to any other toolbar in the IDE). To add or remove commands from the toolbar, select "Customize" from the Tools menu. Then, choose "Add-ins" from the Category list, and drag command icons in and out of the toolbar as necessary.

Overriding MSVC 6.0's Default Build Keyboard Shortcuts

To change the keyboard shortcuts for IncrediBuild commands, follow the following procedure:

    1. Select "Customize" from the Tools menu.
    2. Select the "Keyboard" page.
    3. Choose "Add-ins" from the Category list.
    4. Choose the relevant command from the command list, enter the required keyboard shortcut and press "Assign". Note that MSVC's standard keyboard shortcuts may be overridden this way (by setting F7 to start an IncrediBuild build, or CTRL-F7 to compile the currently edited file, for example).
